ASSOCIATE I - DISTRIBUTION NIGHT-Expeditor Operator

The overall purpose of and objective of this position includes but is not limited to the following:
Supervision of the truck loading process to ensure quality loads.Assist in the process to ensure that all loads are secure and properly sealed.Help train all new loaders on the proper techniques and procedures.Oversee dock set-up and the start of the shift and clean -up at the end of the shift.Help with pallet loading when needed and ensure all pallets are secured properly.The shift starts at 5:00 p.m. and it ends when the job is complete. Employee will be required to operate a forklift, learn entire operation, and cross train in other areas as needed.Repetitive, heavy lifting required for most of the shift.Ensure case mispicks, overages and shortages are kept to a minimum.Oversee the handling and recording of all broken products throughout the warehouse.Ensure that the conveyor is being run at max productivity.
