Eagle Harbor Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is hiring a Systems Engineer
with a Top Secret clearance
to support our customer in Washington, DC. Your duties will include conducting comprehensive assessments of IT systems and applications solutions followed by the design, document and deployment of the solution. The position requires an understanding of messaging systems, end point device engineering, software engineering, cloud and virtualization engineering and information systems engineering with the demonstrated capability to integrate new solutions with existing platforms.

Responsibilities & Duties include, but are not limited to:Provide significant contributions to all phases of projects to include the initial assessments, solution design, deployment, test and evaluation solutions, release and transition of solutions to Operations and Maintenance teamsEngage stakeholders to fully develop requirements throughout the phases of the projectProvide knowledge transfer and training recommendations as part of sustainment of fielded solutionsProvide analysis, design documentation, and assist in implementation of information systems solutions for evaluation by Unit and Agency LeadershipAdvise and assist to integrate solutions with existing systemsProvide test and acceptance plans, training plans and participate in T&E, data collection, analysis and knowledge transfer sessions for the O&M work center teamsProvide O&M teams assistance in the documentation, standardization, and upgrade of existing systemsRequired Qualifications:
Top Secret clearance required with ability to obtain additional security requirementsDoD Instruction 8570 IAT Level II CertificationStrong written and verbal communications skillsAbility to present technical details to a non-technical audience (briefing)Ability to facilitate reoccurring technical/non-technical meetings and working groupsPreferred Certifications/Education:
BS in relevant disciplineTS/SCI investigation close within 48 monthsCI/Lifestyle polygraph

Clearance Required:
Position requires an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain additional security requirements.
Working Environment & Conditions:
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
