Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply, waste disposal, and heating systems, in residential and commercial properties.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan plumbing installations.Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems.Use power tools and welding equipment to cut, bend, and join pipes as necessary.Test plumbing systems for leaks and defects, ensuring proper function and safety compliance.Collaborate with other tradespeople (electricians, HVAC, etc.) to ensure proper coordination of construction projects.Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide timely, efficient service to clients.Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.Provide excellent customer service, addressing any client concerns and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.Ensure all plumbing work complies with local codes and regulations.The ideal candidate should possess:
Licensed Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber or equivalent certification (required).Proven experience in construction plumbing techniques, installations, and repairs.Strong mechanical knowledge and experience using power tools and welding equipment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.Experience in assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures in both residential and commercial settings.Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations.Commercial driving experience preferred.Basic maintenance skills for general maintenance tasks (desired but not required).Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.Benefits:
