Salesforce testing using APIs
to validate data flows and integrations.Test newly introduced or updated product features, track defects, and ensure the quality of any code changes.Review design documents to ensure testability of new features as well as the quality of the designBeing a leader in setting a high bar for quality standardsCreate and maintain comprehensive
testing documentation , including test cases and results.Develop and maintain
automated tests
using tools like
AccelQ
to improve testing efficiency.Required Skills/Experience:BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience1-3 years of QA experience with strong knowledge of QA methodologies1-3 years of Salesforce testing experienceHave good knowledge of the Salesforce Lightning UI version all the way from Lead to Order. Experience with integrations is key.Knowledge of the Salesforce backend, including objects, fields, record types, and workflows.SOQL and SOSL Knowledge: Basic understanding of Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL)Have experience doing data migration as well as data integration testingProficiency with a defect tracking system such as JIRASelf-sufficient, can work with minimal guidanceStrong communication and teamwork skills
