Position Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to design and implement solutions focused on our trade lifecycle functions across Credit. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded hands-on engineer passionate about delivering quality software on the Java stack. Our Engineer/Full-Stack Developer will work closely with key stakeholders in our Operations and Front Office Technology teams to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions. They will have the aptitude to quickly learn and embrace new technologies and proven methodologies to build and deliver solutions on time.
Primary ResponsibilitiesMember of the Global Technology team, responsible for the full lifecycle of development tasks - analyze, design and code business-related solutions, as well as core architectural changes, using an Agile programming approach resulting in software delivered to tight deadlines.Participate and contribute to design discussions and code reviews.Build positive relationships with other team members, collaborate, and communicate effectively to reach successful outcomes.Utilize problem-solving skills to help your peers in the research and selection of tools, products, and frameworks (which is vital to support business initiatives)Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or another STEM fieldIf applying for an internship, candidate needs to be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer ScienceComfortable working in an agile software delivery environment, with Git and with exposure to CI / CD tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Docker)Strong software experience in developing and a proven track record of delivering full-stack cloud-based applications using Java and JavaScript/TypeScript.Familiar with automated testing techniques: Test Driven Development, Mocking, Dependency InjectionDemonstrated ability to build and deploy microservices in a scalable high throughput workflow.Passion for clean, maintainable code and always looking to improve your engineering skills in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.Financial services experience is preferred but not required.About Apollo

Pay Range$85,000 - $100,000
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
