IoT/Network Hardware Field Engineer - Real EstateHouston$100k base salaryIm currently working with a US-based real estate and property developer who are looking for a Field Engineer to join them on a permanent basis as they look to implement new technology systems and automated setups in their Houston locations. This is a hands-on position with a great blend of corporate and technological advancement responsibilities.Responsibilities:Will be focusing on the installation, service, and monitoring of on-site technologies across several multifamily apartment buildings technologies will include surveillance (CCTV) cameras, IoT devices and other low-voltage systemsRole will be conducting diagnostic reviews of locations, conducting maintenance and managing repair lifecyclesLeading the installation, evaluation and support of new technologies within the Houston-based facilitiesWorking with the Engineering Program Manager to influence technical advancements of facilities, which may involve taking the lead on process improvements and system designCore requirements:Demonstrable experience in a Field Engineering role that involves installing/commissioning networking hardware and troubleshooting electrical systemsStrong background and knowledge of electronics, controls and programming, ideally having proficiency with multi-meter and electrical measurement toolsComfortable leading technology project implementation and able to explain these technologies to users/stakeholders effectivelyThis role will be working onsite in Houston with expected travel between multiple locations in the city.Interested?
