111,633.60 - 185,952.00YEARLY
General Summary:
The Applications Manager assumes a leadership role in the Information Technology Department application environment, including but not limited to designing and developing process improvements for rollouts, manage full life cycle implementation of major new technologies, meeting customer service financial objectives, grow and develop team members, lead functional and development teams and actively participate in all phases of system implementation including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, system design and development, testing, rollout, support.
Responsibilities:
1. Assumes a leadership and strategic role in the evolution of our application's environment, including but not limited to:a. designing and developing process improvements for rollouts, b. manage full life cycle implementation of major new technologies, c. grow and develop team members, d. lead functional and development teams and actively participate in all phases of system implementation including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, system design and development, testing, rollout, supporte. apply advanced knowledge and exercise independent judgment and discretion in management of IT applications and personnel2. Meets customer service objectives by:a. forecasting requirementsb. preparing an annual budgetc. scheduling expendituresd. analyzing variancese. initiating corrective actionsf. troubleshooting transaction issuesg. fully documenting all configurations, customizations, and interfaces to other systemsh. completing auditsi. implementing change through automation as needed3. Oversees the analysis of user needs and makes recommendations of hardware and software applicationsa. Prepares and completes action plansb. Implements production, productivity, quality, and customer -service standardsc. Responsible for implementing change through automation, as needed4. Accomplishes customer service/human resource objectives by:a. recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, b. communicating job expectationsc. planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions5. Participate in the Bayhealth IT governance process by:a. Enforcing policies and proceduresb. Participate in Bayhealth steering and oversight committeesc. Preparing and presenting decision documents6. All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities
Required Education, Credential(s) and Experience:
Education: Bachelor Degree. Alternatively, 10 years of related management experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Experience: Minimum of five (5) years experience in IT management position.Preferred Education, Credential(s) and Experience:
Education: Masters DegreeCredential(s): ITIL v4 Foundational CertificationSix Sigma Lean Green Belt CertifiedProject Management Professional PMPExperience: Seven (7) years of experience in Healthcare IT management position. Experience in Healthcare Supply Chain, Finance, Infor CloudSuite and Epic.
