Position Summary:
Provides administrative and clerical support. Duties include general clerical, and project based work. The incumbent projects a professional, company image through in-person and telephone interaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Creates and modifies documents using Microsoft OfficePerforms general administrative, secretarial, and clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filingMaintains hard copy and electronic filing systemSets up and coordinates meetings and conferencesSupports staff in assigned project based workProvides relief to the front desk receptionistOther duties as assignedRegular and reliable attendanceSkills/Competencies/Qualifications:
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to multitaskHighly organized with a strong attention to detailExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to maintain professionalism and confidentialityWillingness to work, learn and be flexible while displaying a positive attitudeActive listening skillsAble to work both independently and in a team/group setting
Classification : Hourly, Non-exempt
Work Hours : 40 hours per week but may vary daily, and include evening and weekend hours; hours will be scheduled between 9am and 7pm
Travel : None
Working Environment : Interior/Office - On Campus
