They will also serve as important teaching faculty to the trainees in the advanced esophageal preceptorship program as well as the general gastroenterology fellowship program.The successful candidates will be encouraged to get involved in various sub-sections within the division including active learning and in divisional and departmental activities.The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's background and experience.QualificationsBasic qualifications

(required at time of application)Candidates must have a MD or equivalent, MD/PhD, or PhD in Gastroenterology or related fields.Candidates with a MD or equivalent with clinical duties must be Board eligible or Board certified in Gastroenterology.Candidates with a MD or equivalent with clinical duties must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.Additional qualifications
