Summary:
The Brand Manager, EXPAREL will have a key role in achieving our EXPAREL brand goals by ensuring pull through of marketing and commercial strategy. Sr. Brand Manager will lead development and execution of projects and programs to grow EXPAREL in relevant customer segments. Brand Manager will be the primary liaison to vendor partners, field sales organization, to ensure execution aligned with EXPAREL brand strategy. The Brand Manager, EXPAREL is responsible for collaborating across the Pacira organization to coordinate and execute marketing programs and strategy, training materials for internal and external customers, professional engagements and education, and society meetings.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and execute all strategic and tactical plans for EXPAREL in relevant customer segments.
Measure effectiveness vis-à-vis commercial goals and objectives.
Collaborate across EXPAREL commercial leaders.
Develop and manage key customer and thought leader relationships within above markets.
Educate sales force on product, strategy, tactics and pull-through; support field requests; develop content and execute plans at sales/organization meetings.
Lead relevant national conference/society plans.
Build strong collaborative relationships within the organization including Marketing, Sales, Clinical Education, Learning & Development, Medical Education, Medical Affairs, Medical Sciences, Legal & Compliance, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs and vendor partners (i.e., agency of record).
Build strong collaborative relationships externally with patient advocacy groups, nursing and pediatric societies.
Manage budgets & develop and execute scopes of work; identify new vendors when appropriate.
Stay current on new technologies and marketing developments in web, social, print, mobile, etc.
Communicate progress, trends, and project updates to senior management and other appropriate people/groups within Pacira.
Interaction:
Will work closely with employees in all other functional areas and directly with the commercial team.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant pharmaceutical and/or biosciences industry experience with Brand Management/Product Marketing; pain management experience a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Marketing or closely related field from accredited college or university.

Proven ability to maintain a strong attention to detail and quick recall.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of reference and bibliographic software and creation of reference databases are essential.
Ability to successfully work cross-functionally.
Travel Requirements:
~35% Anticipated travel primarily to attend society education meetings, field meetings with KOLs and/or conducting field research and advisory boards.

The base pay range for this role in California is $105,500 per year to $145,000 per year. The range is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. The range considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: geographic markets, business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications.
