Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, the Chief Information Technology Officer will be responsible for leading and overseeing health data management, analytics, executive reporting, and delivering data-driven strategic operational recommendations. The Chief Information Technology Officer will serve as a thought leader on the senior management team and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure the organization has the technological resources necessary to achieve its goals of improving patient care.
The Chief Information Technology Officer will be responsible for monitoring and assessing new technology solutions that would enable scale and increased impact. They will lead, engage, and manage a high-performing team of technical and non-technical professionals that define, implement, and optimize complex services and solutions to support all healthcare initiatives.
The Chief Information Technology Officer will collaborate with partners and key stakeholders to construct meaningful HIT strategies to address current and future business needs while identifying appropriate metrics and performance measurement systems utilizing accountability tools, scorecards, and dashboards. They will take ownership for ensuring measurement of the value of healthcare information technology programs through technical and business metrics.
The Chief Information Technology Officer will direct hardware/software implementation, including installation, assessments, development, testing, and implementation to support and advance integrated population health. They will develop strategic, operational, and technological solutions for improving quality, provider and patient experience, and reducing cost.
The ideal candidate for Chief Information Technology Officer should have a minimum of 5 years at the director level leading teams of technical and non-technical individuals through complex projects and initiatives. A strong understanding of contract and risk assessment, analytics, and reporting is necessary. Solid experience handling, managing, and analyzing healthcare data (i.e., EHR, HIE, claims, CCD/CCDA) and data aggregation is required. A Master's degree or equivalent education/experience in business administration, informatics, or computer science is preferred. They will also have needed to be a part of an organization with a 2M budget.
