POSITION TITLE: Senior Human Resources Generalist

Onity , you will be on the front line with our team, supporting their business initiatives and goals by providing superior advice and support to allow them to be their best for our customers. Supporting our Corporate Functions and the national HR team, you will support front line leaders through coaching and problem solving to shape positive employee experiences and ensure our team members are not only achieving but exceeding their goals.
Key Role Responsibilities:Administer employee lifecycle transactions and partner with leaders and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) regarding employee lifecycle programs, providing support to ensure completion and compliance with requirementsProvide people solutions that have a business and fiscally minded orientation to the business while encouraging leaders to manage and think in similar waysProvide support to leaders and the wider HRBP team on performance management and where required support the corrective action and performance improvement plan process and deliveryConduct local and corporate level employee investigations and reportingDrive and support employee engagement and diversity, equity and inclusion programs, along with other communication, change management and other HR initiativesEnsure proper implementation and employee compliance with HR policies and procedures and all Federal and State/Provincial laws and regulations including labor, wage, EEO and, ADAManage escalated leave of absence and return from leave for all US based employeesManage the unemployment claims for the US based employees; supply and complete required responses for third party provider, support preparation for and participate in unemployment hearings as neededProvide administrative support in HR Systems and fulfill reporting requests for clientsBuild partnerships with business leaders in the organization and provide HR / business supportAssist in developing and implementing plans that successfully aid talent attraction and recruitment of new employees, reduce employee attrition, and enable career progressionSupport the effective offboarding of exiting employees, including but not limited to exit interviewsProvide feedback and coaching to leadership to assist in developmentCommunicate effectively and influence across all levels and functions including ability to partner and build rapport with all levels of employeesSupport business led initiatives with a Human Capital lensAbout You:
We're looking for the following education and experience to be well positioned for success at Onity:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field is preferredMinimum of 3 years' experience in Human Resources with a focus on performance management, employee relations, employee development, employee engagement and organizational planningSkilled and experienced at presenting people solutions with a focus on the business and our financial outcomes balanced with the right solutions for our peopleProven high level of accuracy and attention to detailExperienced and comfortable coaching and guiding managers and leaders in delicate situationsOutstanding interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution and employee coaching skillsProven ability to identify opportunities enhancing policies and procedures to create a best-in-class Human Capital solutionSelf-directed/self-starter, who can learn quickly and act without need for detailed directionExperience managing the unemployment process, leave of absence and offboarding processes of employeesEffective organization and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and adjust to changing deadlinesAbility to research, analyze and interpret various types of data/information (i.e. policies, turnover data, etc.)Strong written and verbal communication skillsPHR and or SPHR certification highly regardedProficiency in Microsoft Office Products, MS Excel and PowerPointTraining / Licensing Requirements:
