About The Role

The Integrations Platform at Rippling enables our customers to connect hundreds of 3rd party applications to the Rippling core applications through the power of APIs and developer tooling. We are on a mission to build a comprehensive suite of capabilities and interfaces to rapidly build and integrate thousands of third-party apps and data with Rippling's platform to fuel business growth. Our vision is to drive a significant amount of automation in employee-related business systems and centralize the following:

What You'll Do:

Lead mission-critical projects and deliver platform capabilities end-to-end with high qualityHave clear ownership of one or many products or platform spacesGet exposure to partners and customers in different business domains, who will help provide feedback for your product spaceLearn and understand how your product can help Rippling continually differentiate itselfBuild and grow your engineering skills in different challenging areas and solve hard technical problemsInfluence architecture, technology selections, and trends of the whole companyQualifications:

A minimum 8 years of professional work experience as a backend engineerExperience building large-scale user-facing applications and developer toolsExpertise in building complex distributed services with high availability and strict SLAsStrong CS fundamentals and knowledge of architecture and common design patternsProven cross-functional communication with product stakeholdersPassion for being in a product-focused environment where everyone cares deeply about customer impactBonus points if you are proficient in Python, Django, and MongoDBBonus points if you're familiar with SSO with SAML and/or OIDC protocolsBonus points if you've built data pipelines and workflow orchestration systemsBonus points if you've previously worked with AWS and have working knowledge of observability toolingAdditional Information:

Rippling highly values in-office collaboration. Employees living within 30 miles of an office are expected to work onsite three days a week with those living 30-49.9 miles away expected to be in the office one day a week. Employees living over 50 miles away are required to relocate within 30 miles of an office. To enhance team cohesiveness, new employees are asked to work onsite three days a week for their first six months.

This role will receive a competitive salary + benefits + equity. The salary for US-based employees will be aligned with one of the ranges below based on location; see which tier applies to your location here.

A variety of factors are considered when determining someone's compensation-including a candidate's professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.

The pay range for this role is:

186,000 - 325,500 USD per year (US Tier 1)
