Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Haas CNC lathe machines as well as some Haas CNC Mills. You will work with high-speed packaging equipment, read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, and utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and indicators. Additionally, you will perform machine and fixture setups, work with various materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, and bronze, understand and apply G and M Codes, and monitor the machines during operation.ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain Haas CNC lathe machines and Haas CNC Mills.Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and indicators.Perform machine and fixture setups.Work with various materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, and bronze.Understand and apply G and M Codes.Square up cylinders or blocks of metal and monitor the machine during operation.Essential Skills1-2 years of experience in manufacturing.1-2 years of experience understanding machining principles.Proficiency in reading a tape measure and blueprints.Experience operating Haas CNC lathe machines.Knowledge of micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and indicators.Familiarity with basic measuring tools.Strong understanding of G and M Codes.Experience with machine and fixture setups.Ability to work with stainless steel, carbon steel, and bronze.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude.Experience with changeovers and machine operations.Why Work Here?
