At SoFi, we pride ourselves on the collaboration between Product, Design and Engineering and so you will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through building, deploying and continual improvement and evolution - and you’ll be working with an all-star team of talented engineers.What you’ll do:
Must be able to deliver high-quality code on schedule, communicate with groups in and outside the development teamProduce well-designed, scalable and reusable codeParticipating in code and design reviews, setting a high bar for the teamBe able to work effectively across functions and teams to ensure deliverables are metDesign and build large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidanceTrack project performance against defined milestones/goalsCollaborate with product managers and other stakeholdersTake initiative and produce timely results in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environmentCreate and add to existing technical documentationMake significant contributions to the code base and drive the roadmap forwardWhat you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical field, but we understand great engineers come from a variety of different backgrounds and also consider relevant work experience2+ years mobile programming experience in Android or iOSGit-based distributed version control systemsAgile-based project development in a microservices environmentTest-driven development along with unit and integration testingStrong fundamentals in web protocolsExperience with working with modern mobile design patternsPassion for solving complex problemsWork and play well with others; SoFi is a collaborative environmentNice to have:
Experience working with Flutter and other cross-platform technologiesReactive programming knowledge (RX, Coroutines, Streams)Knowledge of and contributions to mobile open source frameworksUnderstanding of S.O.L.I.D or G.R.A.S.P principlesUnderstanding of Clean Architecture patternsPrevious experience building platform-level frameworks and components in a large codebaseExpertise in mobile performance tuningWhy you’ll love working here

The base pay range for this role is listed below.
