With offices in Caguas, PR, Boston, MA & San Francisco, CA, we serve life sciences clients in six global markets: United States, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Germany, Canada, and South America.Responsibilities:Lead and drive the implementation of sustainability initiatives to achieve cost savings.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement sustainability projects.Foster a proactive facility management culture through effective use of monitoring and diagnostic tools.Maintain an updated initiatives tracker, including savings type, estimates, and status.Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sustainability metrics.Promote continuous improvement in sustainability practices across the organization.Support buildings and systems management operations in the most energy-efficient way.Complete Energy Management Checklist and provide periodic reports.Train all employees on Corporate Environmental Sustainability goals.Drive sustainability mindset in day-to-day work.Manage Corporate ESG Reporting and the site environmental data collection process.Ensure proper escalation of gaps identified and support needed from the corporate team.Provide quarterly reports on trends, technology, and regulations.Pursue local/national certifications or awards for program recognition.Develop employee education materials and conduct onsite employee engagement events.Manage the Energy Program and support US DoE 50001 Readiness.Establish Energy Performance Indicators (EnPI) around significant energy users.Complete/update the Low Carbon Transition Playbook.Conduct technical site energy assessments (Energy Kaizen, Energy Audit, Gemba Walks, etc.).Coordinate project entry into the corporate platform with site stakeholders.Optimize rebate processes and manage sustainability analysis for project delivery.Ensure measurement and verification of savings for sustainability projects.Collect and analyze bills/data (electricity, natural gas, water, etc.).Facilitate relevant data entry and optimize bills through analytics.Handle energy procurement and budgeting, forecasting volume.Identify Scope 3 reduction projects to achieve 30% reduction by 2030.Execute projects and verify reduction/savings.Report CO2 emissions generated by services provided in the system directed by corporate.Qualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in sustainability or a similar role.Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and report on sustainability metrics.Proficiency in energy monitoring systems software and data analysis.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CO2 emission tracking and reporting.Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and cost-saving measures.Strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.LEED Green Associate certification.Certified Energy Manager certification.Mentor Technical Group es un empleador que ofrece igualdad de oportunidades y todos los solicitantes calificados recibirán consideración para el empleo sin importar raza, color, religión, sexo, orientación sexual, identidad de género, información genética, origen nacional, estado de veterano protegido, estado de discapacidad o cualquier otro grupo protegido por ley.Mentor Technical Group is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
