The Role
Partner in a team environment and be able to independently design, develop, code, test and debug new software or significant enhancements to existing software of moderate complexity. Develop solutions across many disciplines and be responsible for explaining solutions and procedures. Apply principles, theories and concepts and use methodologies, tools, documentation processes and test procedures to complete projects related to moderately complex software.

The Main Responsibilities
Implementing computer programs for the purpose of enhancing and updating the computer system
Designing and coding programs and testing and documenting changes and enhancements
Analyzes programming requests for the purpose of assisting integration with current applications
Assisting in grooming the solution along with the engineering manager and team members based on the requirements.
During the sprints, the candidate will develop the code as per the requirements, perform local testing and review the code with team members.
Participating in all the scrum ceremonies and ensure the agile process is practiced leading to a successful outcome.
Collaborating and help other team members resolve their issues/impediments.
Enhancing the application by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations, and designing and implementing fixes.
Following robust DevOps practices and use CI/CD practices deploying the application.
Leading the production deployment and conduct post deployment validation.
Projecting implementation, researching and evaluating problems, and recommending and implementing decisions.
Conducting training for the purpose of providing technical expertise to end users
Training for System Operator/Programmer, providing user activity education, and one-on-one support
What We Look For in a Candidate
Experience of application development using Java Microservices and Spring Boot framework•Experience in developing REST APIs using microservice architecture, GraphQL.
Experience in developing apps that operate using Confluent Kafka
Experience in using RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL, SQL, NOSQL – Cassandra
Experience in implementing CI/CD, preferably using GitHub/Jenkins
Experience in deploying apps to Kubernetes/Docker
Proficient communication skills
Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
Effective collaboration skills with stakeholders and team members
Ability to train and coach / mentor junior team members.
Able to work independently with minimal guidance.
6+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience with a master’s degree
Good to have Qualifications / Skills
Experience In developing applications using NO SQL DB.
Knowledge of GraphQL.
Development experience in Python.
Experience with Agile/SCRUM Methodologies and development practices
Cloud design experience in Azure/GCP
Demonstrated experience in system ownership
Ability to influence peers/leaders and teams
Compensation
The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
