The Restoration Construction Project Director will be responsible for managing multiple large-scale restoration projects simultaneously. Reporting directly to the Regional Director, this role will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial estimates to final completion, while collaborating with various departments and external stakeholders. A key part of this position involves maintaining and developing business contacts to generate new projects, while ensuring exceptional service delivery. Restoration Construction Project Director Job Responsibilities Manage multiple large-scale restoration and construction projects from inception to completion. Develop estimates for both construction and mitigation projects. Review and approve time and material billing, ensuring all billable costs are captured. Maintain business relationships and source new business to drive project acquisition. Prepare detailed and accurate work orders for project scheduling and execution. Conduct job inspections and recommend additional work to adjusters or clients. Track project timelines, making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and contractual obligations. Ensure timely submission of invoices to facilitate prompt payment. Communicate effectively with adjusters, clients, contractors, and colleagues. Market company services to adjusters and potential clients. Assist Account Executives in preparing bids for adjusters or customers. Conduct loss site inspections to assess damages and prepare bids. Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Minimum of five years of experience as an estimator or project manager in restoration, with a proven track record of managing large projects. Strong expertise in Xactimate software, with at least five years of hands-on experience. Experience in handling restoration projects with a volume of $100K monthly or $1M annually. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Proven ability to manage large commercial mitigation and construction projects. Extensive knowledge of construction estimating and time & material billing concepts. Demonstrated experience in marketing services to generate new or repeat business. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing crews and effective communication. Thorough understanding of safety standards and best practices.
