Due to current staffing needs we are only hiring applicants who have full availability to work in our fall School Age Programs.

Camp Fire Alaska aims to help youth develop social, emotional, physical, and academic skills that will help them see and reach their full potential. We do that by facilitating hands-on, educational activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, structured play and more, all in a safely organized before and after school program setting.

School Age Program (August - May) 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Position:
Program Staff:
Work between 20 -25 hours per week (average), supervising activities with groups of up to 10 kids.
Qualifications –
Minimum age limit is 16 years old
Ability to transport yourself to work (school site, Camp Fire office)
Preferred -
Experience working with kids in a group setting is preferred
Experience, training, or education in youth development, education, or recreation is preferred
REQUIREMENTS:
(can be acquired after hire with agreed upon schedule): Adult/Child/Infant CPR, AED & First Aid; Food Worker Card; Mandated Reporter training certificate; Health & Safety certificate.
