We constantly ask ourselves: What is our impact on the world?HDR is looking for a Senior Right of Way Project Manager to join our team in either Charlotte or Raleigh, NC. This individual must be a professional who is well versed in all aspects of right-of-way services for power, transportation, water, and oil and gas projects. They will manage projects as described below and help recruit, develop, and manage a group of right-of-way professionals.Responsibilities:Provide area leadership of technical capabilities within the right-of-way business class.Build and retain strong relationships with team, other project managers, and client development managers.Serve as a client manager, project principal, and project manager.Maintain appropriate QA/QC procedures and best practices.Actively participate in projects or manage projects to meet assigned utilization rate.Support area pursuits and actively participate in proposal development.Identify project right-of-way needs and help recruit professionals to join the HDR team.Ensure all work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated through proactive project management system.Implement, monitor, and support company policy.Work cooperatively with other project managers, region and National Directors, and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts.Perform other duties as needed.Preferred Qualifications:Valid Driver’s License.A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the right-of-way industry.A broad-based range of right-of-way experience across diverse markets with an understanding of Uniform and Non-Uniform Act right-of-way procedures.Familiarity with the Uniform Relocation Act and the Eminent Domain Process.Ability to build positive client relationships, strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Experience managing budgets, preparing scopes, and developing cost estimates.Demonstrated ability to establish, grow, and manage a right-of-way program and staff working statewide in multiple offices.Possess knowledge of area clients and business environments related to right-of-way services.Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.Ability to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, as well as balance multiple projects by prioritizing effectively.Ability to understand applicable laws, policies, and procedures by which each project is governed.Local candidates are preferred.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in related field.10 years related experience.A minimum of 5 years of project management experience.Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software.Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management, and communication (both written and verbal) skills.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.What We Believe:
