The
Chief of Staff
to the Chief Legal & Regulatory Officer (CLRO) is a key senior leader responsible for driving the strategic agenda of the legal and regulatory organization while ensuring effective execution of its initiatives. This role is ideal for a senior strategic thinker with extensive experience in legal and regulatory matters who is comfortable navigating complex organizational dynamics and driving results through influence and collaboration.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Partnership : Act as a strategic advisor to the CLO, helping to define, prioritize, and operationalize the legal and regulatory strategy.
Consultative Leadership : Provide consulting expertise to legal, regulatory, and business leaders, leveraging insights and data to inform decision-making.
Operational Excellence : Oversee the operational rhythm of the legal and regulatory functions, including managing the department's calendar and strategic planning processes.
Communication and Alignment : Facilitate communication and alignment across the legal and regulatory leadership team.
Tactical Execution : Handle day-to-day tactical work as needed, including managing key legal and regulatory projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in legal or regulatory roles with demonstrated success in senior leadership positions.
Proven track record of partnering with senior executives and leading cross-functional teams.
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Experience in corporate governance, compliance, risk management, and regulatory affairs.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
