We're looking for a

Software Engineering Manager

to join Snap’s Ad Data Infra team, which has the mission to streamline and fortify the backbone of our monetization data processing infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

Manage and mentor a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Set the strategy, build a roadmap, create measurable goals, and lead your team to deliver.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, interfacing between Monetization engineering and our infrastructure partners.

Evaluate the technical tradeoffs of major decisions and be a strong technical mentor.

Hire, grow, and retain high-performing team members.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Background in building high availability and mission-critical systems.

Experience leading an engineering team.

Ability to execute large, complex technical initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.

8+ years of experience working in software engineering.

2+ years of experience managing a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, collaborative environments.

Experience with Ops-heavy systems/products.

Hands-on experience with Kafka, Flink, or Google Cloud Dataflow.

Proficiency in using Google BigQuery.

Experience building solutions on modern data ingestion, processing, and warehousing infrastructure.

Proficiency in using data analysis tools like Google BigQuery or Trino.

Compensation:In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone that determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) : The base salary range for this position is $222,000-$333,000 annually.

Zone B : The base salary range for this position is $211,000-$316,000 annually.

Zone C : The base salary range for this position is $189,000-$283,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
