The Store Leader ensures world-class guest service experiences for all of GameStop’s guests and supervises a combination of associates including an Assistant Store Leader, Senior Game Advisors and Game Advisors.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSelling Passion:
Enjoy active selling, including exploring and creating guest needs and closing the sale. Provide world-class guest service by promptly greeting guests and handling concerns effectively.Solution Selling Focus:
Drive sales by creating complete, lasting guest solutions. Ensure the use of Solution Selling techniques to align guest needs with GameStop products.Team Support:
Demonstrate commitment to the store team, recruit and develop people committed to outstanding guest service, and lead associates in meeting sales goals.Operational Agility:
Respond rapidly to operational requirements essential for creating exceptional guest experiences, manage merchandising activity, and protect company assets.BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)• Must be at least 18 years of age• High school diploma or GED required; An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred• Three or more years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience required• Must be able to work alone and move throughout the store unassisted• Must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 20 lbs.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES• Proficient guest service skills• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment• Proficient knowledge of operating a point-of-sale system• Ability to deliver bank deposits safely• Ability to work extended hours/days as necessary.Full-time store positions at GameStop are also eligible to participate in incentive programs, health benefits, paid time off, 401(k), employee discount, and a casual work environment.About Us
