In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end business development lifecycle, including partner identification, business case development, partnership negotiation, signing and execution, go-to-market launch and continued partnership growth. You will guide complex, cross-functional projects and drive progress by diving into product details when needed.A successful candidate is someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, enjoys thinking about edge cases, asks “what is another way of doing this?” and is a strong verbal and written communicator. Oversee complex partnerships setting strategy and driving value through collaboration. Work with senior level collaborators internally and externally to advance initiatives in multiple markets, secure resources and provide ongoing communications. Form business development frameworks and commercial models, define implementation paradigms, identify key players and maintain relationships with strategic partners. Contribute to a strong team culture encouraging diverse thought and service to our internal and external partners.Minimum Qualifications

8 years of professional experience with 5 years in business or market development at multiple companies in financial services segments.Direct experience structuring partnership deals and negotiating technical terms across multiple partner types in the payment industry.Self-starter who works optimally in a dynamic environment and is comfortable managing ambiguity while delivering projects to completion.Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally to evaluate and drive resolution on complex problems.Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated ability working in or with traditional issuers and across markets.Deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem, funds flow, roles/responsibilities for settlement, relevant regulations and industry standards and the wide spectrum of payment issuing products.Understanding of installments and rewards and knowledge of the top players driving the market.Talented communicator with an understanding of how and when to communicate with leadership in order to move initiatives forward.Skilled in partner behaviors and experience creating clarity through evolving partner circumstances and needs.Ability to implement strategic and tactical plans across many organizational partners and markets.Experience building cases around market opportunities and partnerships including strategy development, market segmentation, competitive analysis, and financial analysis.Additional Requirements

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
