experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager
to join our team! As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing project costs, schedules, and performance to ensure successful completion within company standards and objectives. You will oversee project activities from bid to closeout, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to timelines.Key Responsibilities:Generate, review, and approve estimates, subcontracts, change orders, and purchase orders.Manage overall project management, including profit/loss and successful completion from bid to closeout.Investigate and address potential serious situations, implementing corrective measures as needed.Create, review, and maintain project schedules.Prepare project documents such as progress reports, schedule updates, and financial/budget updates.Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to plan and direct project activities.Confer with other project managers and superintendents to discuss work procedures, complaints, and construction issues.Monitor project progress for schedule adherence and cost control.Ensure compliance with RFI's, RFP's, and CO's that impact the original contract work.Draft contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.Monitor project scope for changes affecting budget and schedule, and communicate with customers regarding adjustments.Address daily issues and ensure smooth transitions for clients.Identify solutions for problems that may impede project progress or affect customer relations.Qualifications:Associate’s degree in construction management or a related engineering field preferred.Minimum of 2-3 years of heavy civil construction and/or project management experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel) and MAC Suites required.Familiarity with Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat preferred.Experience with project management accounting software is a plus.Offer of employment contingent upon passing a state/federal background check and pre-employment drug test.Compensation:
