ExemptSummary:The Senior Quality Analyst is a member of an Agile team and works directly with other agile teams and cross functional roles to understand project features, review technical designs, and implement manual and automated testing solutions to deliver quality software with efficiency. This position is responsible for designing manual and automated test cases in support of software products (internal and external) in an Agile Teams software development lifecycle. This senior position requires technical experience performing test data preparation, automated and manual test creation/execution, and test results analysis. This includes documenting detailed test methods and procedures for use by QA and Operations team members.This position is based in Phoenix Arizona, or Denver or Grand Junction Colorado. Our strategic flexibility allows for local work from home opportunities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following:Collaborates within an Agile Teams methodology to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the components and products developedWrites and executes test cases, plans, and supporting data setsCreates and maintains standard test procedures and functional test librariesIdentifies test requirements from technical specifications and business use case scenariosPerforms research and analysis of the company’s integrated system including 3rd party componentsPlan, schedule, estimate, forecast, coordinate, and manage QA deliverablesMonitor and report on the status of testing efforts, defect tracking, and weekly time accountingOpportunities to coordinate with vendors and project teams to understand system requirements and ensure new products are built to a sustainable testing environment and methodologyEffectively manage through complex technical challenges with clear timely decision making and incisive, creative problem solvingProvide analysis and recommendations in the development and enhancements to QA procedures, tools, and methodsOccasionally required to be available for after-hours work, outside of normally scheduled hoursPerforms other related duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.SkillsTechnical testing experience with SQL, Mongo, APIs, web services, and transaction integration enginesExperience with HL7 messaging standard, XML, JSON, RESTExperience with Postman and SwaggerStrong analytical and deductive reasoning skillsExperience with data analytics and data analytics systemsElectronic Health Record and Health Information Exchange (HIE) experience desiredProficiency in clinical workflow, ideally across healthcare providers and systemsStrong problem solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skillsProven aptitude for seeking creative solutions to multifaceted problemsSelf-motivated, works tasks independently, and collaborates within the Agile teamThrives in a fast-paced environment working on simultaneous projectsEducation/ExperienceMinimum of 5+ years of relevant QA technical experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline required.The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
