The Vice President, Church Extension Fund oversees the investment and lending functions within the Church Extension Fund. Broad Job Responsibilities
Oversee the CEF program; this includes opening new accounts, processing transactions, posting statements, closing accounts, interacting with clients, reviewing marketing materials, and recommending modifications to board approved policies as needed.
Monitor and ensure CEF securities compliance by adhering to board approved policies, assisting in the preparation of the Offering Circular, and assisting in regulatory filings.
Serve as a contact for Southern Baptist churches, associations, other Southern Baptist entities, and like-minded evangelical ministries who may utilize Ministry Loan Services or Kingdom Investments
Participate in setting Kingdom Investment rates and act as the subject matter expert for deposit operations
Receive, review, and evaluate applications for Ministry Loans from Southern Baptist churches, associations, other Southern Baptist entities, and like-minded evangelical ministries
Present applications for Ministry Loans along with pertinent information to the internal loan committee and the Ministry Services Committee of the board of directors
Participate in the preparation of necessary loan documents and supervise their execution
Maintain and review records on all Ministry Loans
Participate in regular meetings and discussions to provide updates on lending activities, seek guidance on complex cases, and contribute insights to enhance lending operations and effectiveness
Assist President, WatersEdge Ministry Services, in CEF management by developing strategies, managing partner and client relationships, and providing regular analysis
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Church Extension Fund operations by identifying areas for enhancement, proposing innovative solutions, and implementing best practices to optimize efficiency and client satisfaction
Manage the CEF team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Provide guidance, support, and training to team members, ensuring their professional development and alignment with organizational objectives.
Job Classifications and Requirements
This is a full-time, exempt position.
As a Christian organization, WatersEdge qualifies for a religious organization exception to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Therefore, this position requires active membership in a Southern Baptist church (which is defined as a church which is cooperating with Oklahoma Baptists).
Working Environment
This position generally works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
Travel and operation of a vehicle may be required.
