Full Time & Part Time schedules available and we offer Over TimeThis position is located at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu, Hawai'i.The pay range for the position is a minimum of $29.43/hour to a maximum of $34.03/hour.Responsibilities:Provide troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of the facility and related controls equipment, components, and systems.Provide concise, accurate, and sufficiently detailed data for input of all maintenance information.Oversee the maintenance program including reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance including spearheading repairs & emergency response support.Provide timely critical information to keep the Site Manager abreast of crucial situations and/or conditions.Troubleshoot PLC controlled mechanical systems.Assist with the development and ensure proper input of maintenance data into the computerized maintenance management system.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Respond to maintenance calls when required and/or requested.Comply with company safety program and trainings.Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment.Perform other duties as assigned or needed.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of a Maintenance Repair Technician II, the employee is frequently required to climb or balance and work in small spaces. Ladder work is required. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 49 pounds. Ability to work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp around aircraft and the confined areas of baggage conveyor systems. Specific vision abilities required by this job include good close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Good hand/eye coordination is required.WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment is similar to airport operation with vehicular traffic. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, cold, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Employees will work on an airport ramp around aircraft and around heavy equipment.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDValid Driver’s LicenseExperience in general plumbing or electrical background highly desired.3+ years’ experience in equipment and maintenance operationsFamiliarity with Airport operations a plusExperience in troubleshooting and repairing relay logic and PLC controlled systems preferredIndustrial Electrical Experience – specifically with 480 v and 3 phase motorsAbility to independently troubleshoot and repair wiring/motor control systemsComputer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to read blueprints and electrical schematicsExperience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of large equipmentAbility to be badged to work in secure areas of an airportAbility to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts including weekends and holidaysOshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities.
