Job Description
The Quality Assurance Business Operations Team at Whole Foods Market is seeking an experienced Principal Business Analyst to serve as an internal consultant, driving innovation and continuous improvement in our critical food safety and quality programs. As the team’s technical expert, the Principal Analyst will drive the planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of software systems that facilitate food safety and quality programs at Whole Foods Market. The principal analyst will also seek to streamline and automate tasks that support critical food safety and quality programs. This role will engage with cross-functional audiences ranging from Compliance Analysts to Executive Leadership. This role will also support the transition of data analytics and reporting to AWS tool sets.This position is located in Austin, TX.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to provide strategic insights and recommendations for enhancing supplier compliance processesAnalyze and validate current systems, proposing and overseeing improvements to increase accuracy and efficiencyProvide project leadership, engaging with process owners to develop and execute change strategiesStay up to date on industry trends and technologies, evaluating and recommending new tools to drive functional improvementsWork closely with internal and external teams to ensure smooth integration of compliance processes into the supplier and item lifecycleQualifications:BA/BS degree and 6-8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combinationHands-on experience developing and optimizing complex processes across multiple tools and teamsTechnical proficiency with AWS data tools, APIs, databases, and web technologiesAdvanced understanding of process improvement methodologies and troubleshootingExceptional customer service, communication, and leadership skillsSelf-directed, innovative thinker with strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressureThis is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in business analysis and process improvement to drive critical food safety and quality initiatives at Whole Foods Market.
