This is an exciting opportunity to work across the Carbice Corporation organization, managing key technical and product level projects from definition to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with R&D, engineering, product management and the customer facing team to define the project, understand the keys to success, document the plan to execute, and follow through to on time completion. He or she will develop a good working understanding of the products and technology and develop a strong working relationship across the organization.The successful candidate will not only have an opportunity to join a fast-growing company, but also join a team that is focused on being an outstanding corporate citizen, and a responsible member of the community. Lead company project and program management across the organization.Accountable for creating technical and product project plans working with engineering, product development and marketing.Responsible for understanding the needs of each project, defining the project scope, project objectives, laying out the project actions, activities and documenting the schedule in collaboration with management and company stakeholders.Identify resources required to complete the project.Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies and monitor risks through the project lifecycle.Create project plans and implement/organize using Microsoft Project or other tools.Communicate status and track all plans to closure.Be a critical resource for the engineering team and product management teams by providing coordination and control of all company key projects.Play a key role in problem solving, bringing in all key company personnel as needed to solve issues and keep projects on track.Possess the executive presence to work with company leaders to communicate and drive progress.Team up with all the key business functions across the front end, engineering and manufacturing.In addition, this role will:
Develop positive work relationships with all levels of management and other departments in the company, work collaboratively with corporate functions, HR, legal, finance, etc.Educate internally and externally including business partners and new sales channels for Carbice products.Help resolve any issues and problems faced by teammates and deal with technical issues to build personal and company trust.Communicate with the executive, engineering and the product team about progress as well as the process of project management.Qualifications
BS in Engineering, Materials Science or related technical field, BBA, BSBA, or MBA.Experience in project management and leadership.Strong technical skills, able to teach and learn.5 years of experience in project management.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Mastery and experience using Microsoft Project and other project management tools.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Experience balancing technical and business aspects of projects to drive value solutions to customers.Track record of meeting measurements and KPI’s while completion of projects and programs.High motor – high energy business leader.Ability to “roll up sleeves” and personally take action.Desired Qualities
Track record for exceeding KPI’s and/or business goals.Curious/Analytical: Able to be the customer. (internal and external) Understand how they think, what they want and why.Resourceful/Scrappy: Creative about ways to get the job done efficiently.Hungry/Results Oriented: Hard worker, highly motivated to learn, execute, deliver and be accountable for results.Organized/Diligent: Follow up regularly and maintain momentum with counterparties.
