Baptist Health is hiring a Vice President Operations to join the Baptist Medical Center Administrative team.The Vice President of Operations works closely with the BMCJ Hospital President, VP of Patient Care Services and VP of Medical Affairs to ensure that high-quality, cost-effective, safe, patient/family care is provided in a manner that yields a positive margin. The Vice President of Operations must collaborate to ensure that the culture of the organization appropriately positions the organization for success. This executive must be able to lead in a highly matrix model and engage an array of leaders to accomplish operational goals while inspiring followership. The Vice President of Operations must possess the diplomacy, drive, and acumen needed to work well with the medical staff. The Vice President of Operations should also embody the principles listed in the Mission, Vision, and Values of the organization as they lead.The Vice President of Operations is responsible for an array of clinical and non-clinical support areas which may include:Clinical/Clinical Support Departments
: Heart Center, including Cardiac Cath Labs, Electrophysiology Labs, and Cardiac Testing, Imaging, Laboratory, and Wound CareNon-Clinical Support Departments
: Emergency Management, Environmental Services, Food and Nutrition Services, Parking, and SecuritySystem-Wide Responsibilities
