The Transitions Program Manager is a critical position within the Pilot Operations team which requires someone to take on broad and challenging responsibilities. The selected individual will successfully demonstrate the following:Have strong engineering and manufacturing operations knowledgePossess excellent communications and influencing skillsUnderstand customer’s quality and on-time delivery expectationsExpertise in problem-solving and root cause/corrective action processesOther Job Responsibilities

Apply communications and problem-solving skills in a variety of business contexts including:Communicate in formal presentations to executive leadership, management, and individual contributors; hold Phase Gate ReviewsLead cross-functional teams with members from different organizations and geographies while advising teams and individualsAbility to influence peers, internal customers, and executivesProviding coaching and training as neededUnderstand when and how to escalate issues while maintaining positive relationships with team members and other organizationsExcel in developing a culture of creativity and accountability in project teams to solve problems in new ways while keeping organizational commitmentsDevelop and deliver clear and concise communications for leadership teams and stakeholdersEnsure execution, manage risks, assure adherence to program or project schedules, and performance to meet business requirementsPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the processExcel in teamwork and teambuildingWho We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:B.S. degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical field5+ years in a technical or engineering role3+ years in a program/project management roleDemonstrated leadership skills and knowledge in phase gate approach to program managementExperience coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholdersAnalytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision supportPreferred Qualifications

MBARelevant project management certifications such as PMP or CAPMExperience in the following is preferred:Product Design or Manufacturing EngineeringAnalytical techniques and data-driven problem solvingExperience in New Product Development or New Product IntroductionOur Commitment
