EHS Business Partner

will be instrumental in leading the development and execution of environmental, health, and safety programs specifically tailored for Arxada. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with industry regulations, fostering a culture of safety, and driving initiatives that enhance operational excellence in process safety management.Essential Job Functions:EHS Program Development:

Design and implement comprehensive EHS policies and procedures that align with PSM standards and regulatory requirements.Compliance Oversight:

Monitor compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations, conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence.Process Safety Management:

Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate PSM principles into daily operations, ensuring risk assessments and safety measures are effectively implemented.Training & Development:

Develop and deliver targeted training programs for employees on EHS practices, process safety, and emergency response protocols.Incident Management:

Oversee and lead investigations of incidents and near misses, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Data Analysis & Reporting:

Prepare and present EHS performance metrics and reports to senior management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.Stakeholder Engagement:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing sites, office and lab spaces, and business teams to promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.Sustainability Initiatives:

Drive sustainability efforts that minimize environmental impact and enhance the company’s commitment to corporate responsibility.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field of discipline.10 plus years’ experience in safety environmental in hazardous chemical manufacturing setting.Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, process safety standards, and best practices with experience working with a chemical company that follows the PSM standards.Prior experience leading an EHS team required.Experience working with various regulatory agencies such as EPA and OSHA.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, or equivalent) are highly desirable.The expected salary range for this role is

$164,700 - $201,300 ; specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location, and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.Arxada is an equal opportunity employer.
