It is what defines and differentiates us, and informs our core beliefs.The Role:The Product Owner (PO), Integration will work with the scrum team to create, maintain, and optimize essential software to provide exceptional user experiences. The PO is responsible for collaborating with peers, stakeholders, and leadership teams to maximize value by carefully selecting and prioritizing work that aligns with business initiatives. This role will have autonomy and decision-making responsibilities to support and build a modern and globally scalable platform to support best-in-class customer experiences.
The PO will specialize in integration and oversee the development and enhancement of our integration software platforms. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity between core systems and drive the modernization and optimization of our integration solutions.What You Get To Do Everyday:Oversee the design of integration solutions, ensuring they are efficient.Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes and data flows.Prioritize and manage backlog and implementations, ensuring product execution meets strategy and requirements, and refine features into product backlog items (PBI).Create and update objectives and key results (OKRs) for product initiatives to drive direction and report on outcomes.Partner with other product owners and software engineering leaders to achieve product success and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).Recommend and implement processes and tools that create simple, consistent, reusable, efficient, and flexible options for the customer.Distill customer and stakeholder needs and wants into a clear set of user stories and acceptance criteria for software development.Advocate on behalf of the customer and business to the development team.Make decisions about incremental value-add and iterative development within the application using data-driven research.Document integration interfaces, data flows, integration technologies (e.g., APIs, ESB, microservices), and middleware platforms.Lead and advocate for agile and scrum-based software development frameworks.Facilitate scrum ceremonies and fact-finding initiatives.Implement processes and tools that create simple, consistent, reusable, efficient, and flexible options for the customer.Collaborate with stakeholders on a regular cadence.Present and perform continuous risk and mitigation scenarios.Perform other position-related duties as assigned.You Need to Have:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceThree years or more of work experience as a product manager, product owner, business analyst, software engineer, quality assurance analyst, or consultant in integration systemsAbility to manage and order a backlogAbility to create discernable sprint goals to drive direction for teamsAbility to summarize and use data to tell stories and drive decisionsAbility to multitask, prioritize and organize efficientlyStrong attention to detailAccountability for work producedPositive attitude, high-energyWell-developed interpersonal skillsWe'd Love to See:Agile certification(s)Certified Scrum MasterCertified Product OwnerWhat We Offer:$100,000 - $110,000 annual salaryAnnual company performance bonusComprehensive benefits package401kPTOHealth & Wellness DaysPaid Volunteer Time OffContinuing education and trainingHybrid work scheduleCrisis Prevention Institute is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate against any applicant or employee on the basis of age, race, color, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, religion, diversity of thoughts and beliefs, creed, sex, sexual
