(Must be proficient in Spanish and be able to speak, read, and communicate fluently)The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for an Operations Lead to work onsite in Doral, Florida and have the opportunity to oversee IT operations and ensure the continuity of IT and Cyber Services in support of the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES) 2 contract. The Operations Lead will be responsible for maintaining seamless, resilient, and secure IT service operations across USSOUTHCOM's Area of Responsibility (AOR), which includes Central and South America and select Caribbean nations. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse mission partners and stakeholders.Primary Responsibilities:Lead and manage IT service operations throughout the USSOUTHCOM AOR, ensuring compliance with operational standards and readiness for 24/7 availability.Oversee day-to-day IT service operations, ensuring compliance, mission effectiveness, and cyber resilience.Coordinate and collaborate with various teams, including government and interagency partners, to support seamless IT operations.Ensure IT service operation efforts are aligned with Continuity of Operations (COOP) strategies and enable effective command and control for DoDIN operations.Implement proactive configuration management processes to maintain data integrity and operational effectiveness.Utilize sensors and data-centric processes to drive decision-making and proactive service improvements.Support defensive cyber operations (DCO) across the AOR to protect IT assets and ensure mission continuity.Drive continual service improvement (CSI) by optimizing IT services, aligning with DoD best practices, and implementing industry standards.Report service status and performance metrics to leadership and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.Coordinate with personnel to ensure appropriate training and knowledge sharing on IT and cybersecurity best practices.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.8-10+ years of experience in IT service operations, with a focus on managing large-scale IT environments.Must currently hold and be able to maintain a Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.ITIL certification or similar service management qualification.Proven experience in IT service management, configuration management, and cybersecurity operations.Ability to manage operational readiness and 24/7 availability for critical IT systems.Experience supporting IT operations within the DoD or other government sectors.Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity practices, and data management.Excellent bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish), with the ability to communicate technical issues effectively to senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.Ability to travel as needed within the USSOUTHCOM AOR.Must be proficient in Spanish and be able to speak, read, and communicate fluently.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.Experience working in multinational or interagency environments, particularly with a focus on defense operations.Knowledge of USSOUTHCOM’s mission, operational objectives, and command structure.Key Competencies:Operational Leadership:

Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
