Reports in Bloomberg say that President Donald Trump has personally told Vivek Ramaswamy that he doesn’t want him
as
his vice president. However, Trump is keeping an open mind when it comes to appointing Ramaswamy to a Cabinet position. People familiar with the matter say there’s a good chance that Trump could nominate Ramaswamy as the new Director of Homeland Security.President Trump is ramping up his discussions of potential Cabinet picks now that he has secured the Republican nomination for 2024. According to the Bloomberg report, “
Some Trump allies see Ramaswamy as ideal for the job
[DHS Secretary]
because they say he excels at public speaking and, as an
Indian-American
son of an immigrant, could neutralize criticism of sweeping immigration restrictions.
”That makes sense. Given that Hindus have deep-seated hatred toward all Muslims and Chinese, Ramaswamy would be merciless in efforts to deport those particular demographics. (Contrary to popular belief, diversity is not really a thing anywhere else in the world and people of different races, religions, and creeds are not very polite to one another.)Several other figures have emerged as possible Cabinet picks as well. These include North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), a Trump loyalist from his home state. One of the most promising rumors about a person being considered for a White House position is that of Donald Trump, Jr. Don Jr. says he would at least consider a transition role, in which he could act as a gatekeeper to prevent Deep State saboteurs from ending up in White House jobs. Disastrous personnel picks were the number one complaint that MAGA voters had about Trump’s first term in office. Two other names on President Trump’s list for a possible Cabinet position are Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT). Word is that he’s considering the two of them for the Attorney General slot. Of course, we should take
all of
these reports with a grain of salt until we hear it directly from President Trump himself.RELATED ARTICLES
