The incumbent is responsible for supervising, scheduling, and directing a workforce comprised of subordinate supervisors and leaders, and through them, a large staff of library technicians and material handlers. Under the broad guidelines of the Assistant Chief, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing and directing the retrieval, storage, and distribution operations of the Library’s general collections stored on Capitol Hill and all collections stored at offsite storage facilities.
