FREELANCE EDITOR

KPIX is looking for a highly talented part-time video editor with a passion for news and experience using non-linear editing equipment.Responsibilities:Work in a fast-paced television news environment.Be detail-oriented and deadline-driven with minimal supervision.Ability to work with Grass Valley Edius editing system is preferred.Juggle multiple projects as a creative and poised team player.Be flexible with work schedule, willing to work nights, overnights, and weekends as needed.ENG will also be part of regular duties.Minimum Requirements:2-5 years' experience in a television news environment.Links to demo reel demonstrating abilities required.Paramount is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) including disability/vet.At Paramount, the spirit of inclusion feeds into everything that we do, on-screen and off.
