What is The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Public Sector Account Executive. This role will focus on growing our presence within state and local government accounts. As an integral part of our growth strategy, you will play a key role in empowering government agencies through innovative search technology and analytics, enabling them to unlock the full potential of their data.
What You Will Be Doing:
Drive the adoption of AI-powered search solutions within new Enterprise accounts and deepen our engagement with existing Strategic accounts.
Position yourself as a trusted advisor, assisting users and customers in harnessing the full power of Elastic's search analytics to transform their data into actionable insights.
Nurture our Open Source offerings, articulating the value and capabilities of our advanced commercial features.
Identify and develop new use cases, showcasing how Elastic's solutions enable users to work more efficiently and intelligently.
Collaborate closely with various Elastic business functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Proactively identify new business opportunities with customers, successfully navigating complex sales cycles.
Develop a comprehensive business plan using community, customer, and partner ecosystems to drive significant growth within your territory.
What You Will Bring:
5-10 years of experience and a consistent track record selling technology solutions, preferably related to Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, Security, APM, and Cloud.
Experience in State and Local Government sales, preferably within the State of Colorado and surrounding region.
Experience in solution selling, with the ability to articulate the value of technology for customers and effectively address their challenges.
High energy levels, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
Consistent and accurate sales forecasting skills using SFDC.
Bonus Points:
Experience in selling within an Open Source model.
Preferred location: Denver, CO - Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Arkansas, Oklahoma
