This role involves frontline duties (50% of the time) and administrative responsibilities (50% of the time).Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the aquatics departmentDevelop, promote, and evaluate aquatic programsHandle staff scheduling, training, and supervisionEnsure safety practices and financial operations align with goalsEngage with members and program participants on the pool deckLifeguard and teach swim lessons as neededQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDAt least 2 years of leadership experience in aquaticsCurrent certifications in CPR, First Aid, and LifeguardingStrong skills in personnel management, program planning, and administrative tasksTeam-oriented leadership styleAct as a First Responder in emergenciesManage departmental budget and meet financial targetsSelect, train, and supervise staffPromote YMCA goals and evaluate programsPrepare reports and assist with Center supervision and public relationsContribute to the Annual Campaign and community outreachWe look forward to welcoming a dedicated and passionate individual to our team!Join us and make a difference at the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA!It is the policy of the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis to provide equal employment opportunity to employees and candidates for employment.
