The School of Medicine of Stony Brook University is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician Scientist/Scientist to join our faculty in the Division of Infectious Diseases. This is a full-time academic position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.Qualifications
PHYSICIAN SCIENTIST:Required Qualifications:
MD, DO, MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Board Certified/Eligible in Infectious Diseases. Experience in clinical care and clinical, translational or basic research in the field of Infectious Diseases. Will be responsible for research, patient care and teaching.Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated publication and active funding track record in clinical, translational, and/or basic research is preferred. The ideal candidate will have exhibited a strong commitment to advancing scientific knowledge of the field of Infectious Diseases, as well as demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical, educational, and academic excellence.SCIENTIST:Required Qualifications:
PhD, MD, MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent). Experience in clinical, translational or basic research in the field of Infectious Diseases.Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated publication and active funding track record in clinical, translational, and/or basic research is preferred.
