The Department of Radiological Sciences in the David Geffen School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time Professor to join the faculty in an Adjunct or in-Residence series position, all ranks, in the area of computational imaging. The faculty member will join a highly collaborative group and receive significant departmental resources to support grant writing and management. The incumbent will be expected to establish a pioneering research program in computational medical imaging and compete for extramural funding.The Department encourages candidates to apply who have experience in and who have demonstrated commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds and to improving access to higher education for disadvantaged students through teaching and mentoring activities.Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent.Apply online at

Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree.Preferred Qualifications:
A degree in computer science, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, statistics, and/or a related discipline is preferred. Desirable candidates will have expertise in the analysis of medical images using computational techniques. Specific application areas of interest include but are not limited to, image classification, image segmentation, image reconstruction, multi-modality data fusion, biomarker discovery, and quantitative phenotyping. A record of competitive extramural funding, interdisciplinary collaboration, and publications in one or more of these areas is highly favored.Application Requirements
