MicroHealth is seeking an
IT Service Desk Manager
to support our client and team. Your expertise in enterprise IT will be instrumental in helping our clients navigate evolving demands and missions. This position will be supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) at the Defense Health Headquarters (DHHQ) in Falls Church, VA, and DHA offices in the area.
This is a Planned Position.

Essential Functions:Supervises and coordinates activities of IT Service Desk Specialists, Coordinators or Technicians.Identifies, troubleshoots, or resolves information systems problems to minimize down time of applications and personnel.Fields telephone calls, e-mail messages and other contacts from customers seeking guidance on technical problems.Use independent thinking to achieve complex tasks with little to no supervision.Use your ServiceNow and ITIL v4 expertise to proactively track, monitor, and improve service delivery and end user support at the DHA.Oversees all survey planning, design, sampling, and development, creating guidelines for capture, managing, and use of information for knowledge base. This includes:Pretest/pilot surveying; defining and refining the agendaSurvey database administrationAssessing reliability and validity of dataDetermining proper survey data collection methodologyOversees the production of reports and findingsRequired Qualifications:Education: Master’s Degree or equivalencyExperience:Eight (8) years of progressive experience (with Masters)Ten (10) years of progressive experience (Bachelors)Twelve (12) years of progressive experience (HS Diploma)Certifications: IAT II and 8570.01-M CE to include one of the following:Security+ CE, CND, GSEC, GICP, CySA+, CCNA Security, SSCP or CYSAServiceNow, ITIL v4, SLA/OLA management, Knowledge Base Management, Service Delivery, Continuous ImprovementStrong leadership and communications skillsExperience briefing Federal and DoD executive leadershipSLA/OLA managementService deliverySenior level experience supporting DoD missions.Salary:
$140,000-$160,000
