This role will oversee projects ranging from $2,000 to $500,000 each or $1,500,000 annually. This position will also serve as the Senior Site Representative (SSR).Qualifications:7+ years’ experience in the construction industry with a commercial or industrial general contractor.Extensive experience managing and coordinating multiple projects as well as managing personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.Very experienced in producing detailed fixed price estimates; ability to use RS Means or other published unit price books.Extensive knowledge of construction means and methods.Possess effective negotiating skills.Strong ability to adapt and be flexible to frequent changes in a fast-paced work environment.Demonstrate integrity consistent with Centennial’s core values.Collaborate and work effectively in a team environment with people of various backgrounds and styles.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field highly desired.Responsibilities:Project Management:
Plans, coordinates and manages all facets necessary to complete projects within budget, on time, and deliver quality work. Manages the projects in accordance with contract requirements and Centennial systems and procedures.Estimating:
Performs independent review of estimates based on technical specifications, scope of work and drawings or sketches.Subcontractor Management:
Manages the coordination of subcontractor buyout; includes arranging and attending site visits with subcontractors.Scheduling:
Establishes and maintains project start, progress, and completion schedules.Business Development:
Contacts new and existing customers to discuss their needs and propose solutions.Safety:
Ensures compliance with Centennial’s Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) guidelines.Senior Site Representative (SSR) specific duties:Personnel Management:
Manages overhead and general conditions costs for the area of responsibility.Financial Management:
