Ashley Regional Medical CenterDescription:The Director of Quality's primary responsibility is to ensure that quality patient care is provided and that mechanisms are developed, in place, and maintained to improve organizational performance and risk reduction. Responsible for coordinating and facilitating clinical and non-clinical quality efforts throughout the organization.Through collaboration with members of the management team, the Director of Quality incorporates performance improvement initiatives into strategic planning, organizational culture, and performance excellence for improved business and service outcomes.Engages medical staff, board of directors, department leaders, and staff to develop, implement, and maintain successful performance improvement plans/programs.Leads the initiatives for the National Quality Program, which educates the entire facility on the Foundational Five principles, preparing and presenting data and other NQP initiatives.Serves as the Joint Commission expert, informs and educates staff regarding standards, and assures that Joint Commission standards are maintained. Prepares for and leads the Joint Commission survey readiness hospital-wide.Leads culture of safety initiatives, including Culture of Safety and Engagement debriefs, ensuring that action plans are in place and followed.Organizes and facilitates various committees that support performance improvement and assures regular productive meetings with accurate documentation of committee activities.Participates and provides data for Leap Frog, CMS, and other required reporting.Ashley Regional Medical Center is a Joint Commission accredited 39-bed hospital committed to serving our growing community with the highest quality services. Fishing, hunting, biking, camping, golfing, water sports, cross country skiing, and white water rafting are just a few activities that this diverse landscape has to offer, all centrally located between Salt Lake and Denver.Qualifications:Registered Nurse license to practice in Utah.Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration.Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
