Minimum Qualifications:B.S. degree in Construction Management or Engineering a plus but not requiredA minimum of two to five years related experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general contractorExperience supervising and managing multiple subcontractors on multiple construction and repair projectsLEED construction experience, a plusBasic computer understanding including e-mail, MS Office and internet accessGood oral communication skillsGood time management and organizational skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentAbility to travel to various project sites / states, requiredScope of Responsibility:Responsible for the day-to-day supervision, coordination and quality control of subcontractors and craft personnel. Ensures the safety and well-being of employees at project sites. Updates the project schedule and ensures that project deadlines are met.Position Duties:Ability to acquire and maintain OSHA Safety Course Certification, Red Cross First Aid, and CPR Certification, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers CQM certificationSupervise and coordinate subcontractors and job site operations for job order contracts in accordance with Centennial's Superintendent's ManualReview and provide input on project scope of work and developmentHelp to establish and maintain project schedules including start, progress, and completion schedulesControl all job site operations for compliance with contract requirements, noise and dust control, non-interruption of Owner activities, and utility shutdown proceduresProvide daily Safety awareness and inspections to ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel at the job sitesProvide job site quality control checks to ensure the construction and materials are in accordance with project scope of work and Owner standardsPrepare and submit accurate, detailed, electronic daily reports for the project. Post reports on Contract intranet websiteTogether with the Project Manager, prepare agenda and hold job progress meetings with subcontractors to coordinate project progress with minutes distributed to all parties.Schedule all project activities in compliance with project schedule timelinesPunch list management and project closeout requirementsTeam player working directly with PSO, PM, QC and sub-contractorsEnsure compliance with Centennial's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) guidelines and procedures along with all local requirements (OSHA, USACE EM385.1.1, etc.)Responsible for notifying supervisor if an HSEQ infraction is observedWe are a national General Contractor providing complex renovation and design/build construction services around the country.
