Network Security Engineer

I am hiring a Network Security Engineer on behalf of a Cyber Security company specializing in IT security and data protection solutions. The company provides consulting, auditing, and implementation services to help businesses secure sensitive information and comply with regulations like GDPR. Their offerings include cybersecurity risk assessments, data encryption, penetration testing, and security training. With a focus on comprehensive data protection, they support organizations in safeguarding their digital assets against cyber threats and ensuring regulatory compliance.

In this role you will be responsible for:Deployment of diverse cybersecurity measures for client protection, covering network, access, and device security.Incorporation of security tools such as firewalls, NAC, SIEM, advanced endpoint protection, etc., within current systems.Setup and fine-tuning of current security systems, along with diagnostics and resolution of issues.Participation in shaping and planning tailored cybersecurity strategies.

This role is remote in Germany with occasional travel to client site.

Essential:Relevant degree or technical apprenticeship e.g. Computer Science, Cyber Security.Professional experience in the area of network security and infrastructure.Experience with security solutions e.g. Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet etc.Personable.C1 German and fluent English.

Desirable:Experience with cloud technologies.
