Job DescriptionThe Director, BOKFS Operational Strategy & Innovation oversees and manages critical areas within BOK Financial Securities and BOK Financial Capital Markets (broker dealer and bank dealer), including Institutional Operations, Retail Brokerage Operations, and Information Delivery. Additionally, this position plays a key role in the growth and development of BOKFS.

Collaborating with senior leaders at BOKFS, the Director coordinates and manages cross-organizational initiatives. They also oversee the evolution of BOKFS infrastructure, working closely with LOB stakeholders and internal shared service providers to achieve mutual objectives. The Director leads a team focused on multiple large projects with significant enterprise impact. The Director is a change leader who ensures the Operations team is prepared for growth as well as industry and regulatory changes.

How You'll Spend Your Time

You will direct and manage Institutional Operations, Retail Brokerage Operations, and Information Delivery at BOKFS.

You will set strategic direction and optimize operating capabilities to maximize profitability.

You will develop and implement strategic plans with leaders to drive growth and profitability.

You will identify market trends and opportunities for expansion.

You will lead cross-functional projects to enhance operational capabilities and market position.

You will mentor and lead a high-performing team, providing training and development.

You will serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders related to operations.

You will manage process improvements and redesigns to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Education & Experience RequirementsThis level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline and 10-15 years Securities business experience or equivalent work-related experience of 16+ years.

Extensive working knowledge of Securities processes and procedures.

Ability to partner across disciplines and lead cross-functional teams.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Knowledge in project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.

Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

Excellent organizational skills: ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a competent and professional manner.

Basic knowledge and understanding of all systems that support trading operations. Some of the core applications include: Broadridge Impact, MBS Expert, FICC MBSD and GSD, InTrader, Bloomberg TOMS, ICE, OpenLink, and NetxPro (Pershing).

Extensive knowledge of all types of Securities. Specifically, an extensive working knowledge of the mechanics of Fixed Income, including Mortgage-Backed Securities, and equity securities, the markets they trade in, operations and the regulatory environment.

Good working knowledge of accounting and accounting systems.

Ability to interpret IT related documents, such as data mapping, flow charts and schematics.

Good PC skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel applications.

Hold a FINRA Series 7 or MSRB Series 52, Series 63, and Series 24 or 53.
