Transportation Director

Regional School Unit 19, serving over 1800 students in grades PK – 12 from the towns of Corinna, Dixmont, Etna, Hartland, Newport, Palmyra, Plymouth and St. Albans, seeks a Transportation Director effective in December 2024.The Director is responsible for:Maintaining a safe fleet.Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local laws.Hiring and supervising the Transportation Team.Meeting transportation needs in a safe, professional, and timely manner.Providing efficient transportation to students on daily routes, as well as for all athletic and field trips.The successful Director should have:Exceptional personal, organizational, and communication skills.Strong supervisory skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team and members of the school community.Detail-oriented mindset with strong technological skills.Having a bus driver’s license is preferred, but not required to begin this position.APPLY TO:www.rsu19.orgSelect EmploymentClick on Job Openings and apply for the posted position.RSU 19266 Williams RoadNewport, ME 04953
