We are looking for an Aviation Project Manager that has a desire to apply their technical design and management experience, while actively engaging their entrepreneurial spirit. Directs and coordinates activities of design disciplines and construction teams on projects of varying sizes, with a focus on airfield pavements, hangars, and other aviation facilities. We are seeking an aviation project manager with aviation engineering experience to assist with delivering projects for airports in Southern California including Los Angeles World Airports, Ontario International Airport, San Diego International Airport, Long Beach Airport, Burbank Hollywood Airport, John Wayne Airport, San Francisco International Airport and with several other airports in the region.

Responsibilities include:

Communicates and coordinates with team on all deliverables as well as development of the project scope and fee and assists in the preparation of technical proposals and contracts.

Serves as the primary client liaison and manages the project team to deliver projects to completion exceeding client’s satisfaction.

Direct coordination with clients and other partners.

Lead or assist in pursuit/proposal management and contract negotiations.

Assist in direction of project planning, budgeting and establishing critical project objectives.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, and/or construction management or equivalent years of relevant experience.

Minimum 7 years related experience, including resident engineering and/or field experience on airport facility projects.

Minimum 5 or more years managing complex airport and airline projects, with a focus on airside projects, hangars, GSE, and other aviation facilities.

Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government and public contacts on project-related matters.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong leadership, problem solving and project finance skills.

Solid understanding of FAA criteria is required.

Professional Registration preferred.

Compensation

$150,000.00-395,000.00 Annually

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
